rhy, "In a similar fashion to the PS3 Slim, the power supply is designed for inputs ranging from 100V to 240V AC, making it usable across the globe." you will not need a converter. from here. It is a universal power supply. All you need is a power cord the fits the outlet. the voltage on the outside label will most likely only display the voltage for the country it was sold at. i.e. US 110V. If you do want to make absolutely sure, you will have to open up your PS3 and take a look at the PSU itself. Hope this helps, good luck.

The ps3 is dual voltage but you should confirm that by checking your power supply. First confirm that on the PS3 label is written 120 - 240V.

Thanks for your reply,

I was confused because, I saw the link for that model and in specification Box they mentioned "Power : 120 V AC, 60 Hz" this is what made me feel confused now :(

Here is the link for manual i saw,

https://www.playstation.com/manual/pdf/C...

Please do confirm if any of you have experience without using any transformers!?

What model did you run without transformers!?

Thanks,

Siva
