I've noticed that recently the amount of battery that my laptop used to hold has lowered. It went from hold 3 1/2 hours to 1 hour. I would like to know why this has happened and how I could fix this problem?

Victoria Nelson, this could be a result of an aging battery. I suggest to replace the battery. there are ways to repair and recondition that type of battery, but only if you have worked on those before. It can potentially harmful. So, be safe and replace the battery.
