Keyboard Died and now won't turn on by shorting the power pins

Hi;

My Macbook has suffered a Coffee spill (posted on here previously). I have managed to get it working by using the 2 pin short method as shown here however now it will not switch on using this method???

I was planning on switching it on an doing a final Backup and retrieve everything I need from it but now it won't power on at all :-(

Like I said I did managed to power it up to determine what damage had been caused (I had already stripped it, cleaned it and dried it) the keyboard was malfunctioning, power button knackered, wierd behaviour from the Track Pad and the Bluetooth and Wifi hardware was showing as not available, so I was planning a replacement!!

But whilst it was sitting attached to the power one evening it suddenly switched itself on? and then if I shut it down it kept restarting, the only way to stop it re-booting was to disconnect the power, since then it will not power up?

How could it have got progressively worse?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

The Domino effect will cause cascading failures. You data should be OK. Just remove the hard drive and use either an external enclosure or a Universal Adapter to Migrate your data onto your new Mac.

After re-visiting the Fix My Laptop site where I found the pin short out power up method, I re-read the intro which states that these methods may not work if the keyboard is connected. I disconnected three ribbon cables (I Think one was not the keyboard) and hey presto it powered up again.

it looks like the Domino effect had only effected the keyboard which was causing the follow up weird behaviour?

Anyway I now know that the Mac operates at about 90% but before I up and pay for a keyboard I would like to fix the Bluetooth and WiFi (No Hardware Installed when hovering over the Desktop Icon in the menu bar?).
