HP 41CV - Why did my decimal point get replaced by a comma?

When performing math functions, the normal decimal point has been replaced by a comma. The math function performs correctly only there is a comma instead of a decimal point. It is very confusing!

Chris McCoy, try this. To change the (.) dot to (,) comma - Press [Shift] [CF] and enter 28. And to change the (,) comma back to (.) dot - Press [Shift] [SF] and enter 28.

Note: CF is key to clear flag and SF is the key to set flag. On the HP 41c, the SF is on the 7 key and CF is on the 8 key.

That wored fine, now I get the decimal point in the correct place, but on large numbers, the digits are not separated by a comma. Like 10000.5000 is displayed instead of the prefered 10,000.5000.
