Battery Replacement - Tri wing screw damage

I tried to replacement my battery and unfortunately I damaged one of the 2 tri wing screws on the battery so I removed it completely. I've removed and replaced the battery and my computer seems to be working fine without the screw in place. Should I look for a replacement screw?
