Something is wrong with my charger port.

So i just got an this 1st generation iPod touch from a friend. It works fine but something is wrong with the charger port on it. In order to charge it i have to push the USB chagrer in to the iPod with great force. and sometimes that doesnt even work. How do i fix it?

Ebay sells a replacement port for a 2nd. or 3rd. gen. ipod touch for around $6.00 or 7.00 dollars. (NEW) i bought one for my 2nd. gen. a few months ago.
