I accidentally spilled beer onto my iPod and the Power button no long works. Everything else is working fine accept the fact that I can't manually put my iPod to 'sleep'. Is there a solution for it? Thanks in advance.

I would disassemble the iPod and clean the logicboard and the power button assembly with isopropyl alcohol (>90%) and a soft paintbrush
but please - to prevent more damage - desolder the battery first

Put small amount of alcohol on button and press it a few times. Worked for me
