Replaced Rear camera twice, still black screen

Hi all,

A customer has given me a IPhone 4S that want a screen replacement in it's life.

The rear camera doesn't work. The front works, and there is no closed shutter. A third party app (awesomme camera) gives no solution.

IPhone has been restored bu DFU - no solution.

Tried a working camera - no solution

Controlling the golden ground plate - no solution

Anyone has a other suggestion?

I'm afraid that it's a motherboard problem...

I think you may have answered your own question there Glenn. It certainly sounds like it is pointing towards a logic board issue. I can't think of any other reasonable steps that you could take really other then to thoroughly check the board for any missing IC chips.
