MacBook map flashing after formatted harddisk

Hi. I formatted my MacBook Pro in startup by press command+r and afterwards formatted the hard disk in disk utility. When I start up the MacBook it show a flashing map with question mark on it. What does that mean, and how do I fix it.

I tried the same thing on another Mac, and the same thing happens

Really need a solution

Greetings

Christian

Here's the Apple TN on OS X Recovery.

I suspect your system does not have a recovery partition so your system is trying to access Apples servers via the internet (the icon you see implies this). Here's a good writeup on what happens: What is OS X Lion Internet Recovery and how does it work?

Is your systems one of these Computers that can be upgraded to use OS X Internet Recovery or newer?

Also review this article on older 2010 systems that now can use Internet Recovery Apple Brings Lion Internet Recovery to More 2010 Macs Your systems EFI must be at these levels or newer.
