Touch screen does not respond after glass replacement?

I cracked the glass on my phone. Functionality and everything worked fine. I decided that I was tired of the glass chipping away and went about changing the screen. Everything went well and the new glass was installed. The phone turned on and the screen looks great, but now the touching the screen there is no response. The back and home buttons worked. Voice command works. I removed the new glass and tried a new one with no change. What could this be? Any suggestions or tips would be great!

Take screen off and see does the touch work I have seen this problem before and it's to do with the glass being to high and not flush with the lcd you also need to use loca glue

it sounds like you did glass only? the digitizer is glued to the lcd and has to be replaced as one , it sounds like the digi was damaged in some way during the glass replacement, so i would try a new lcd/digi combo, sadly its much more expensive
