iphone 5c proximity sensor not working after i replaced the screen. it's in place but do i need to put something else on it?

I won't make sure that you didn't accidentally tear the cable also does the new screen have a hold for the prox sensor?

the cable didn't tear but i think i might have to sharpie it like the i phone 4s proximity sensors, will this work?

no the sharpie will not work this was a tip only for the iphone 4
its possible you damaged it.. is the rubber gasket still on the prox

yes it is still on it, the cable looks fine
