Will removing the mid frame allow the sim slot to be removed?

I want to remove and replace my sim slot, as it is no longer working. I may have bent a contact last time I replaced the sim, as I've been switching back and forth between my htc one and my s3. Now it won't recognize any sim, neither mine nor my wife's (both att). I can order a new slot assy for $5-10 and I have all the screwdrivers and prying tools needed for the mid frame removal. Is that all I'd need or will it be a lot more wor after the mid frame is removed? Also, at that point, should I just send it to a professional? If so, who do you suggest? Thanks. Pete A.

Hey Pete,

You would be good to just pull of the rearhousing and the sim tray has one jawbone and pulls right up. It should be a very simple repair with minimal risk of causing any damage!
