control lock on, and end signal is flashing

I went out of town and when I returned the control lock light is on and the end signal light is flashing slowly. I tried holding down the control lock button for 3 sec and also held that button and the end signal button together for 3 sec to no avail. Any suggestions?

Options

Unplug the machine for 5 minutes to allow it to reset, then plug it back in and see if the problem is solved.
