I have a Samsung Note 10.1 model GT-N8013EA. I was using a text/talk app that wasn't responding. Exited app and tried my email. Tablet was responding slow and I wanted to reset. The tablet turned off and I figured I had reset but now it only stays on the black screen with the white Samsung logo. I have tried to push the power and volume buttons as I read this could help but to no avail. What else can I try?

It sounds like a software problem ..
Try to look for guides how to reset the device or how to update software, sorry not really familiar with this device):
Anyway it reminds known fault of sudden death in the Galaxy models
Try to put him in the Download Mode, shutdown button and lower volume key, then it should read a few lines in one of them listed model: **** if not listed there anything the memory of the device burned

Thank you. Somehow I was able to restart the tablet and removed the app. I do not think it was the app but just the same to be safe. I will look into any updates. sudden death sounds scary. Appreciate the help.
