Just purchased the 2270DW laserjet printer. When I turn it on it beeps twice, stops. Beeps twice again in a few seconds. Stops and in a few seconds beeps again. No job is in the queue. The toner is fine and no lights are lit. I'm hooked up by USB to my MAC. There's nothing online that I can find that makes any sense and nothing in the manual. This is driving me crazy! Thanks-

From what I can find out, its common for laserjet printers to make these noises on start up for some reason. Also, if it is connected to a UPS, the power drain on it causes on start up, exiting sleep mode etc, can cause low battery alarm beeps to go off.
i hope thats somewhat helpful as I couldn't find much information either
