Why wont my Ipad charge or turn on?

I dropped my iPad a while back and replaced the digitizer. After replacing the screen my WiFi had gotten worse(wouldn't work far from router) and the screen was 'ghost typing." I replaced the WiFi antenna but the problems persisted. It was actually worse because my iPad no longer charged so I bought a replacement charging port and again it still wouldn't charge.

  • I have tried a soft reset also with the charger in
  • I have tried connecting to a computer but it isn't recognized.
Answer this question I have this problem too

Where were the parts for the ipad from?

You could have gotten parts that were faulty.

I got the parts from amazon. I wouldn't have thought two parts would be faulty but they could be I suppose. Thanks for the reply.

You have a few problems, one you need to reseat your digitizer connectors, if you are still getting ghost touching then replace your digitizer. You could have replaced the Wi-Fi antenna with a bad one, try another one, if you are still having Wi-Fi issues then replace your Wi-Fi module. If the iPad is not charging or read by iTunes then you need to make sure the new dock connector is seated correctly.

Hi, i have just sorted the charging port problem which just needed to be fitted a bit more secure. I changed the Wifi antenna again to another brand new one and i am still not getting a strong Wifi connection. Would you think this needs a new Wifi Module then? Whe the problem first occured i didnt go near the module at all. Thanks.
