The best option is to enable dev options by taping your build number 7 times, enable usb debugging. From there you can copy and paste music, photos or any other file you want on your tablet.

On my galaxy S3 I just bought a microSD card for 20 bucks, it has 8 gb of memory and you can just drag and drop files and they will be added, simple as that.
