static image and colorful screen

The problem start two weeks ago, the screen started to fail but the problem it's getting more frequently, if I use my phone for 10 seconds the image get freeze, if I turn off and turn on the screen, it shows a colorful static image like old tv without signal, if I turn off the screen for a minute, when I turn it on again, the phone works well for almost ten seconds and get stuck again but is only de image, the phone continue working with the freeze or the colorful image

I read that it could be the the part "USB Port Dock Connector Mic Flex Cable" but I want to confirm before buy it

Note: the second image is not mine, I use one found in a forum but it show the same problem

yes, I fixed it changing the flex usb charge port

Options

Left my Nexus 5 for about 10 minutes, took it up to check message and the screen was the same as the second picture. Tried rebooting the phone, however nothing seems to work nor does the rebooting screen comes up
