Cannot access any systems

When powering up screen says " check cable connection pxe-mof exiting intel pxe rom. No bootable device-- insert boot disk and press any key.

Do not have a disk drive so cannot boot from a disk and if I press a key the same message repeats over again any ideas

sue nicholls, your system can not find the boot disk. You did not tell us which Acer you have, so we can not really give you a good answer. You can try and set your BIOS to boot from USB drive and create a bootdisk on a USB stick to see if it works. I would just try a Live CD from LINUX (I prefer Puppy Linux) and see if that will start your computer ok. Ultimately it sounds like you will have to replace the hard drive/SSD drive (whatever your particular computer has). Hope this helps, good luck.
