Problem with corner screw for replacement display assembly

I'm replacing the display assembly on an iPhone 4 GSM, and

I'm having a problem attaching the screw circled in orange in step 27 of the iPhone 4 Display Assembly Relacement instructions.

I can see the frame screw hole through the hole in the tab attached to the display assembly, but it is positioned in the upper left of the tab's hole. It seems like I'd have to angle the screwdriver up to get the screw to go in, and there's no room to do that. I've got the assembly tight against the frame.

Is it possible I've got the wrong assembly? It doesn't seem like it, based on my review of images for the iPhone 4 Verizon and iPhone 4s. Everything is in the right place except this one is slightly off.

Thanks for any help,

-jb
