Closed Tray and Red Dot&Ring.

Hello, I have an xbox 360 Slim, When I cut it on the tray wouldn't open, So I did the paper clip trick and open the tray, after that I took GTA 5 out and when I closed the tray I cut the system on and It had the Red Dot in the middle and a light Red Ring. But when I put the the game disk back in ( by doing the paper clip trick) it went back green and went the the home screen. So I still couldnt get the tray to open with the eject button. So I too it apart and saw a cable cord that wasn't fully in the socket. I plug it in all the way and put everything back together and I had the Red Dot and Ring. So I did the paper clip trick and took the disk out, and still had red dot. Also my HDD don't have a thing to cover it so it is just inserted it the socket. Any Idea's?
