Stuck in reboot loop

Hi, I have an ipod touch 5. It was jailbroken and i was going to remove it. I went to my iphone to remote wipe it because i wasnt at my computer and all seemed well. now it is stuck in a spinning white circle and i cannot work with it in its system for more than 30 seconds. I want to completely reset it. please help
