iPhone 4 not charging after LCD screen replacement?

I just replaced my iphone 4's lcd digitizer along with the screen since it was cracked but after I was done, I had plugged it into the charger but it just won't charge anymore. I even tried a brand new usb charger and nothing. The iphone does turn on and everything is fine but it just wont charge. How can I fix this problem? Please answer! My phone is at 28% :(

Turn the phone off. Next, plug in your USB charger. If it lights up the phone that means your cable and (charging) connector in the phone are probably all good and the battery is bad. During the replacement, you could have shorted the battery -- so, try reseating the cable --- if it doesn't charge after that, then you'll pretty much know it is the battery. If after the battery replacement, it does the same thing, then it would probably be an issue with the dock connector.

It doesn't turn on after plugging it too...

Well, as you stated, it powers on, so it is running on battery juice and the lcd is good. Second, if you powered it off and plugged in the cable and the apple logo didn't appear that means either your cable is bad (and yeah, you can have two bad cables at once - weird stuff happens) or you have a problem with the dock connector.

(and to elaborate on weird, I had a 4 in the shop tonight that would charge when plugged in, but wouldn't mount / sync... it was a bad cable, so go figure, one of the pins in the cable responsible for data sync was bad, but not the charging side. just trying to make the point that sometimes a bunch of little things can run you around in circles in this business. :)

I tried on a third one but it still doesn't work. How do I check if the dock connector is bad and how do I fix it? The three cables work on my ipod.

Well, first, before changing out that dock connector take a peek inside and see if there might be any pocket lint or other obstructions. If so, power it off and use a small brush (like a watercolor brush) to clean anything out - gently. Second, I'm not perfect - so give your question ample time to flow in the forums in case I missed something...there are some other really great folks that might have a two cents to toss into your question.

Last, if it does come down to the dock connector you can try to clean the contacts (make sure to power down and disconnect the battery first with say 99% alcohol (don't use $ store alcohol, it contains water and will short circuit your device) to clean the dock connector and clean the cable connector that attaches to the logic board.

If all else fails, here are the instructions on replacing the dock connector. As a rule of thumb, on every repair, read through the complete process before you begin.
