Subwoofer connector ripped from logic board

Hi,

I was replacing my optical drive with an SSD but when I was disconnecting the subwoofer connector from the logic board it broke :(

One of the four pin of the connector came off so I can't solder it on the motherboard again.

Can anyone tell me the name of that connector so maybe i can buy it and re-solder it on the motherboard.

Thank you

alessiorossotti, give us your computers serial number. This will help us to identify which logic board you have and then possibly to identify the right connector.

alessiorossotti, that connector is a Molex 78171-0004. It is available at places like this. More information about the connector can be found on here. Hope this helps, good luck.

Have the same issue...but the whole connector came off. My macbook pro is not starting. Can I troubleshoot it that way? Won't start even in safe mode...

Best to create your own question with your system info as well posting a few pics so we can see the damage. This is a very old question.
