Audio no longer working after fall - best next steps?

Will be as brief as I can.

My niece decided to jump from my bed onto my beloved MBA Mid 2013 whilst it was in it's neo-case

Damage: One side of the MBA is slightly dented. Audio does not work

What Works: Everything else -Screen, Charge, Keyboard etc

Within Settings>Sound 'No Output Devices Found' comes up and I've done all the PRAM resets a man can do.

Strangely after some software updates the apple chime will play on reset but when back into the OS no audio is present.

I decided to replace the Audio Ribbon - this worked up until I reset the laptop and sound was gone again, I even tested the 3.5mm and that worked for when it audio was working.

I am now thinking about replacing the MagSafe I/O board - however The magsafe/usb both work completely fine it is only the 3.5mm audio jack that does not.

Is this issue due to the soundcard? Ribbon?

I would rather avoid relying on a usb to 3.5mm converter for everywhere I go + bluetooth speakers(which I already have).

Am I best off selling it for spares and repairs (although - literally everything else about it works)?

Not sure what my best course of action would be without sinking more money into it without the guarantee a fix will actually occur.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?
