game does not appear like I even put a game in

my kids ds game messed up i just bought it they had it no time when i put a game in it the game does not appear like i even put a game in it. can anyone please help me

I've fixed a few of these by getting an old nail file (the wood ones like a ice lolly stick) and gently sliding it into the slot and filing the gold contacts.

I fixed it using a nail file and sliding it in gentally filming the gold thingys only slightly a few times then it worked.
