Why won't Alcatel One Touch Tab 7 HD turn on or charge?

I've had this tab for 3 months now, this month it started showing symptoms like :

freezing, hanging, turning off by itself (though it still has power), "glitchy" screen. Then finally the other day it showed a "dead android" picture, so i decided to do a factory reset. I thought it was already okay cause i might have used it properly for about one hour (charging) then it turned off on its own, poof! black screen. This time i cant turn it on anymore. Ive tried the power button + the down button, connected it to the pc. Nothing works. btw the back cover was opened before but no repairs/alterations were done, so im guessing the warranty is VOID.

What do you think is the problem? And if i get it repaired how much it would cost? Oh, and can i probably fix this on my own?

It will turn back on and charge in about a week. My daughter has had hers for almost a year and it's the 5th time hers has done it. Huge pain in the @%^ and very crappy product. Will never by anything by this brand again!

The product was working great until it stopped work. If it crank back up in a week we will see but is there away to just reset the think?

Ya, my sons Tab did the same thing. It's been like this for over a week n it still won't charge. It pops up the brand name then black screen then it pops up n then black screen again, it will not charge..

Just press the power button twice. . . ( just hold the second press until the power ON ) sorry for my english
