I tested it before I added the adhesive and it worked fine, now its not working at all. I've taken it back apart and checked to make sure all connectors were secure.

Have you tryed a hard reset? Sometimes if the iPod is turned on and connections are disconnected the screen won't register.. A hard rest is done my holding power and home button togeather at same time for 7 seconds then let go of home and keep pressing power
