How can i recover my paid for vista OS on an Acer aspire with a broken screen?

tracy scanlon, there is really not a good way to uninstall Vista. Repair the LCD and continue to use your computer, or if you absolutely have to, replace your computer and the OS. Let us know which model Acer your computer is, we might be able to help you with the LCD repair. Hope this helps, good luck.

It is an Acer aspire 5720Z, and i would love to be able to use my Acer with win vista on it.
Looks pretty straight forward. Take a look at these instructions The LCD itself is available at places like this.

Hello Tracy,
I would recommend that you simply plug in your computer to a tv with an hdmi cord.
Either that or you can mail it in and get it repaired (cheaper than you think) here is a great repair shop that I recommend!
