Hey
My friend gift me one iphone with broken display and proximity sensor, so i bought one from ebay and i assembled it, but the sensor is still not working.
Also i recently noticed my vibrator was not working and so i removed another from dad's iphone and used it but still nothing
im from italian, sorry for my english :)

Cut two hole out of the electrical tape and place over the sensors

but it is weird because if i tap it with finger light should not pass
Look I'm giving you advise that is tryed and tested and works if you choose not to take that advise no problem
If you have changed the vibrate motor and it's still not working you need to change the volume , mute and headphone jack flex that's were the vibrate motor gets it's power from.. As for the proximity not working it's possible that to much light is getting in and causing the sensor not to work .. I simply use the electrical tape trick to fix this
what is that electrical tape trick ?
im not saying it is wrong :) i just want to be sure it is not anything else before disassembly the iphone again

If the proximity sensor still isn't working, you may need to replace the power button and sensor.
While you've got it open you may want to replace the vibrator with a brand new one. iFixit has them for only $9.95

i already tryed one working vibrator but still not working
so about power sensor i need change cable? hm it looking hard this part
