I replaced the screen and all that fun stuff after i dropped it, but it still won't respond to touch. i have tried hard resets and removing and reinstalling the screen and it still won't work. What is wrong with it?

Christopher, possibly a bad replacement part. Replace the assembly once more with another new one. It is not uncommon to receive one with a bad digitizer. Of course you made sure all your connectors are properly seated and that the connectors are good, no bend or broken pins. Worst case scenario would be a failed touchscreen IC on the logic board. Hope this helps, good luck.

Thanks, i will try to return the part thanks for the answer. What do i need to do if it is the logic board? Would i just need to replace that?

would probably be easiest unless you are comfortable working around SMC. There is an IC that is responsible for the touch panel. Do make sure that your connector does not have any bend pins, seen that before.
