Ok so someone accidentally sat on and cracked my screen.

The tablet works fine i can still use it except for the top area where the screen got cracked, that part has become unresponsive? Any suggestions?

Jared Kiessling, the only way to repair that is by replacing the display. Use the teardown from here to see how to replace it. Even so it is not a guide, it should still help you with that task. Hope this helps, good luck.
