Problem with Canon PIXMA mini260 InkJet Photo Printer?

The roller under the print head has no black stuff on it. Does that mean my printer is dead?

I have tried cleaning the system with nozzle check pattern. The ink is fine. When I print a photo off there is a line on both sides on the paper and it looks like it's from the roller beneath the print head where the ink is located. I could really use someone's help. Please?!

Answer this question I have this problem too

In the properties section where U find the maintenance program is there a choice that says clean bottom roller - try that - also try using a paper towel to soak up any ink that might be on the rollers and if that is the problem just run a bunch of junk pages and the lines should eventually fade away
