do I need different parts for a gen 1 than 3g

I need to replace my screen and lcd on my other phone which is a gen 1 iphone. Do I need different parts for my gen 1 than my 3g or are those particular parts the same?

if they are different what/how much are the 1st gen's parts? Thank you.

The 1st Gen iPhone and the 3G iPhone are very different and the parts are not cross-compatible. You can find 1st Gen iPhone parts here.
