led light wires wont stay in

I was taking apart my sega genesis model 1 for cleaning. When i removed the wires for the led light one wire stayed in but the other came out fully. Ive been trying to get the wires back in with no sucsess. It just doesnt want to stay in the hole. Any help on how to reconnect the wires to the led light is much aporeciated i cant find anything on how to put it back together
