Operating system possible upgrade?
Anyone know if I can upgrade my first generation iPad operating system to something more modern than 5.1.1? The specs on my iPad... MB294LL. 64gb. 5.1.1. (9B206)

Sorry to say Apple does not offer a newer iOS for your iPad.
Its rumored the next major release of iOS will be dropping the iPad 2 (Fall '15) which is why Apple just dropped the iPad 2 and sells in its place the iPad 4th gen. model which it just brought back into the lineup.
While some have managed to make it work (hacked) its not worth the effort.
