2 black horizontal lines in the middle, MBP 2008 15"

Hello!

So my MBP has 2 constant black lines in the middle around the apple logo. It wont show on external display though. It boots normally. Did the pram and smc reset. Now i dont know what's next. Should i look for a display, or is there anyhing else that can be done? Help much appreciated.

Thank You!

Cameron H, single lines across an LCD are usually caused by TAB errors within the LCD panel circuitry. They are very difficult, it at all, to repair. I would suggest a replacement display. Of course, you want to make sure that all the cables are properly connected etc. Hope this helps, good luck.
