Why doesn't camera flash work after replacing power cable?

I replaced my power switch cable. Everything works great except the camera flash. Both cameras work perfectly, just no flash. Flash worked before I took it apart. Disassembled it again to look for something obviously wrong but couldn't find anything. Any ideas?

Perhaps you tore the flash flex when removing the camera/flash. Or didnt assemble the little ground piece onto the camera.
