Replaced power button is locked solid - why?

Hi

I've followed the excellent tutorial here to replace the power button. However, the replacement is now locked solid. The individual pieces click correctly before I tighten the screws on the black bar that connects to the case.

I've obviously done something wrong - any ideas what this could be?

Many thanks

Lars
