Flash is not working on Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT?
the flash on my Canon Rebel XT is not working. it pops up but wont flash. How can I fix it?

calder, this could be caused by a bad flash capacitor, a failed flash circuit board, and a bad flash bulb itself (least likely). The flash capacitor is soldered to the flash control board. The board has part number CG2-1558-000. So, I would either repair or replace the board itself. Hope this helps, good luck.
