Hi,

I have a MacBook Air that works, the display work I am able to see the screen at a certain angle and with light, but the brightness doesn't work. It is completely dark., and I try to all the trouble shooting with rebooting and booting in safe mode and the problem is still here, so I'm wondering how would I fix this problem? Do I need to change the fuse, if so how would I do it?

Edward, you will have to check the fuse for continuity. Use a multimeter and see if it has blown. You also want to check the LVDS cable and the connector. Check closely for any damage. It is also possible that your wled driver has failed. To properly identify the location of the parts as well as the parts itself, post the last three digits of your serial number as well as a few good images of your logic board. There’s no fuse or such a thing for this issue. It’s your back light. It’s gone. You need to change the light or whole lcd panel. Done.
