iPod touch fourth generation dropped now white screen

I have a 8 gig fourth generation iPod. I dropped it and after working for a couple days I now have the white screen of death. I have tried a hard reset and tried putting it in dfu mode but it isn't recognized by iTunes. I'm not sure if it matters but to give the most information it was dropped before and the screen was replaced. Also because of the recent drop the screen is cracked again. Can someone help without telling me to hard reset or put it in dfu because I have tried that and did it properly and it won't connect to iTunes or fix itself. I have also tried draining the battery and connecting it as well as trying to fully charge it (not sure if I did because I can't see the screen but I left it charging overnight so I am assuming so)

Answer this question I have this problem too

You will need to replace the screen again, also you will need to short the battery to the frame with the screen off then plug it into a power outlet.
