Building one working 3gs out of two damaged ones

Iphone 3gs A in pristine condition, was jailbroken and had an unlocked firmware but got fried when plugged to a non apple charger. Supposedly the electrical damage is not even in the dock/charge pin area but in the logic board.

Iphone 3gs B has a non-responsive power button and a shattered screen, is locked to at&t and running on 5.1.1 and modem firmware is 05.16.05, and works just fine.

If I take the logic board from B and put it into A will I end up with a working 3gs running on 5.1.1 with an unlocked firmware (from A)? I mean the antenna in the dock connector/charge pin area (from A) gives me the firmware right? My purpose is to end up with a healthy unlockable 3gs... The logic board and the firmware are two different circuit sections of the phone?
