simlock problem, motherboard replaced

Hello

I have an iphone 4 with simlock to telenor sweden.

Long time ago when the phone was on warranty the motherboard has been replaced, the current imei is 012416007937). The original motherboard which was in this phone had different imei 012338008952.

Is there any way to remove the simlock via the network? I have contacted few sources and they told me they don't know what to do if the motherboard was replaced.

Thank you for any advice

the one i am using right now belongs to telenor sweden

the previous motherboard which was installed... i checked and it says it is simlock free

the replacement was done under the apple warranty

i contacted telenor sweden and they said they cannot remove the simlock because of the motherboard replacement (it figures as REPLACED)

Apple only replaces the phone as a whole unit, they re-register the new IMEI in their server to have the same lock policy as your old one. Submit proof of service to the carrier, they may be able to change the lock policy, then re-activate the phone

So I should contact Telenor Sweden?
