joery, the very first thing you want to try is what apple suggest. Follow the instructions on here. If that does not work, try this. YOU WILL ERASE ALL YOUR DATA. Hope you got it backed up. Go into DFU Mode and restore. DFU Mode Connect your iPod to your computer Turn your iPod Off Press and hold the power button for 3 Seconds While continuing to hold the Power button, press the home button as well for 10 seconds Keep holding down the home button, release the power button for another 10 seconds iTunes should now detect the iPod in recovery mode, press OK, and restore your iPod. Now you can release the buttons. If you have not reached this point, then you have not entered DFU Mode. Hope this helps, good luck.

This happened to me as well. What I did was hooked my iPod up to my computer which automatically made iTunes open up. Then somehow the iPod unlocked. I think it did this because iTunes recgonized my iPod, maybe you should try this if you already have your iPod information stored on your computer iTunes.

Log into iTunes, plug the device into the computer usb jack using a phone power cord. Go to your iTunes, then when you plug in the device a window should pop up. And you can reset it.

The best solutions are to either to to a pawn shop or some place and get it checked out or to wait 45 years.
