Boots but white screen

Boots up and display on a external monitor. Laptop screen is completely white. Installed new screen and same thing.

Jim Teel, this is usually caused by your backlight working, but not receiving any data. This could be an error on your LVDS connector as well as your LVDS cable, your LCD panel or even your motherboard. I suggest that you run the built in LCD test as described on hereAlso, try an external monitor and see what you get on that one during start up. this may provide further clues about any potential damage. Let us know what you find out so we can be of more help.

pls follow the steps

1. turn off your laptop

2. press power button plus D plus + at the same time

3. wait for the normal screen it will go to normal

thats it have a bless day everyone
