Why does my MacBook shut down after start up?

My macbook shuts down right after start up been having this issue for a while now. At first i thought logic board dead but then by accident while taking it apart to clean and check, i did not connect touchpad and whoa la macbook booted i was happy until realized no keyboard or touch pad :P and every time i do connect touchpad it just shuts down after boot. Should i change my touch pad or this still could be an issue with logic board>?

New keyboard solved the problem , i guess it was just the start up button been working like a charm...

Can you give us some back history on your system? Did you get it wet or drop it when you first noticed you had this problem.

You could try disconnecting both the keyboard and trackpad and then using a bluetooth keyboard & mouse see if the system is working at all.

Update

OK, Lets try this first, follow this Apple T/N: Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC). Did it help at all?

One of the first things i tried , today i order new keyboard will take some time i live in Cyprus shipping takes time. Will post finding.

I was away for a month got back and this happend, did not drop it or spill something. It's working fine when touchpad is disconnected boots normally not slow or anything cpu temp normal..... Keyboard connected but not working. So today i started the laptop and then connected touchpad all of sudden window popped up as if I was holding power button.
