Hi, I have just found my lost ipod classic after two years of searching. It has been left to charge since yesterday night and does not appear to be doing so. Also, I have plugged it into the PC but again there is no acknolgement that the ipod device is even connected.
Please help

I'm gonna say always start out with the simplest and cheapest fixes:
1. Charging cable
2. Battery
3. Charging port
4. motherboard

rory, it is easily possible that your battery is past its life expectancy and way below its charging threshold, therefore not taking a charge. Start by replacing the battery and re-evaluate. Here are the guides for it. Hope this helps, good luck.
