SOLVED: modem place top on heat sync or bottom of BD - iBook G4 12" 1.33 GHz

modem place top on heat sync or bottom of BD

I replace logic BD and install modem on the bd. iBook came on once. should I reinstall it on heat sync ? I had BD reball. it took a long time to come on only in safe mode.I have no recover disk please advise thanks

what happens if you try to start without any boot option ?

ever tried the verbose mode ?

maybe it will show you the problem where it hangs

try to run disk utility (depending on the osx version, older versions can not repair the actual boot drive while running from it)

as for the recovery disk issue - look on ebay - maybe you'll find a set for the iBook you have - or get the full version
