Missing 5v on A1261

Hi Im working on a dead A1261. 18V is present on the LIO to Logic board 8 pin connector but no other voltages at the connector. 3.4v is present between the logic board jumper pins.

Any ideas on where /how the 5v is supposed to be generated would be helpful.

Apple board # 820-2262-A LIO Board # 820-2274-A

Michael, that sounds right. The only voltage you should have is the 18V on pin 8. Check the voltages on U7600 which is a TPS51120 Controller (External Switch)

Thank you for your input and posting the diagram of U7600.

Currently there does not appear to be any voltage present on any of the pins of U7600.

Any other ideas you might have would be appreciated.
